MCMC Considering Suing Social Platform X

Minister of Communications, Datuk Fahmi Fadzil has now shared that the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) is considering suing social platform X, for failing to comply with national security laws.Previously, through the integration of Grok on X, it allowed anyone to generate and manipulate uploaded images. This led to a number of irresponsible parties manipulating and sharing obscene and dangerous images through the platform.The Minister of Communications said that the MCMC will issue a detailed statement regarding this matter in the near future. Previously, the MCMC had also ordered a temporary ban on Grok services in Malaysia.
