More Reports Say No iPhone 18 This Year

For the past few months, we have been hearing that Apple will only introduce the iPhone Pro series in 2026, and the regular iPhone 18 version will only follow in 2027. Now, Nikkei has also reported the same thing based on sources of component suppliers.Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 18 series only in the first half of 2027. Meanwhile, for this year, Apple is seen more aiming to optimize resources and maximize profits through the Pro series offerings. This is also seen as coincidentally in line with the memory chip prices that are seen increasing this year.If everything goes well, then we may see Apple take steps to divide the device launch schedule, with the iPhone Pro and iPhone Folding series around September or October, and the regular iPhone series in the first half of next year.
