Many computer manufacturers have said that they will be forced to increase the prices of their computer offerings due to the memory and storage shortages that are currently plaguing the world, caused by the AI sector that always requires a large amount of memory.Recently, HP has just announced a subscription program for its HP Omen gaming computer series, which allows users to rent these computers for use. This subscription program allows users to rent HP Omen gaming laptops that appear to come with powerful specifications, with a choice of the latest AMD Ryzen and Intel Core Ultra processing chips and also powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000 and RTX 5000 graphics cards. The laptops on offer include the HP Victus 15, HP Omen 16, HP Omen 17 and HP Omen Max 16 with the most powerful specs combining an Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. The HP Omen laptop subscription is currently only available to users in the United States, and comes with a one-month trial, and a commitment for at least a year at prices ranging from $49 to $129 per month.Users who use the subscription service for a long time can choose to upgrade their laptop if they wish, but will have to return their existing laptop to HP before the new laptop is shipped.Unfortunately, looking at the website, HP does not offer any ability to own an existing laptop, and will still have to pay for the subscription even though the subscription technically exceeds the price tag of the rented laptop.
