Qualcomm teases Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 launch

After Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Snapdragon X2 Elite series chips a while ago, they teased the launch of their next chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Based on the naming, it is a flagship chip with reduced power compared to the 8 Elite Gen 5.It can be predicted that it may be the successor to the 8s series, which may seem a bit confusing. Qualcomm has not yet shared the launch date of this chip, only hinting that it will appear before the end of 2025.The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is equipped with a powerful Oryon Gen 3 CPU with a focus on better NPU power and a more powerful GPU. So the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 may use the same CPU but with a lower speed.
