One of the newest heavy hitters in the Adelaide metalcore scene KIN. has been making quite a name for themselves lately. Impressing crowds in their numerous support slots and getting pits moving in an instant, the young band have been going from strength to strength. With the release of their latest single ‘Come And See‘ this week, we had a chat with bass player Eli Reardon about the origins of KIN. “We’ve all had experience playing in other bands from varying genres (Mauvais, Signals, Choosing Sides, Sasha, Akura, Days of Deceit), and this helped us meet each other through going to shows and being part of the local scene!” Eli explains. “Our guitarist, Adan, started the project with our previous vocalist, and got us all on board shortly after. Around the time of recording our new release, we got our current vocalist Louie on board.” The band dropped into the scene last year with their first EP [chaos]. Met with much fanfare, the tracks translated incredibly well live, ensuring that this current release ‘Come And See‘ was met with much anticipation.
