Starset Initiate Doomsday On Latest Single ‘Degenerate’

There are many things we still don’t understand about the surrounding and far away galaxies; is there other life out there? How was the universe created? So many questions we don’t have the foggiest answer too. However, one day we received a transmission from outer space, ‘the message’. Decrypting codes and frequencies, electrical engineer and previous teaching associate at the International Space University (FRA) Dustin Bates cracked the message, thus the futuristic, technological concept called Starset was born. Last time we covered the Columbus, OH four piece they teamed up with the world renowned Breaking Benjamin on reimagined single ‘Waiting On The Sky To Change‘, originally from Dustin’s other band Downplay; album Beyond the Machine (2011). The album was removed and later re-uploaded without the earlier version attached. Re-introduced with Violins, Cello’s and updated synths ‘Waiting On The Sky To Change’ now felt a lot more drastic, cinematic and overall rejuvenated. The vocal pairing of Benjamin & Dustin shared a good amount of time between the pair, a true dual powerhouse vocal performance, stressful grits, strong harmonies, bold screams & cleans, not something to overlook.
