The Black Dahlia Murder Reach Out with Servitude’s Second Single ‘Mammoth’s Hand’

After their triumphant reemergence with the comeback track ‘Aftermath‘ and new album details, North American modern death metal kings The Black Dahlia Murder have moved onto the second phase of their new music assault with their latest single ‘Mammoth’s Hand‘. The second teaser from the upcoming 10th LP Servitude, ‘Mammoth’s Hand‘ packs darkly melodic guitar lines, cleverly syncopated rhythms during the verses, and a classic TBDM chorus. As confirmed on the band’s Instagram,  the mid-paced cut was brought to the table by returning guitarist Ryan Knight, whose ripping solo further highlights why he and fellow six-string wizard Brandon Ellis are potentially the most dangerous guitar duo in metal. Though the track is a guitarist’s wet dream, it must be noted that like ‘Aftermath‘, both vocally and lyrically ‘Mammoth’s Hand‘ further solidifies why Brian Eschbach was the right, and ultimately, the only choice to lead The Black Dahlia Murder into the future. Dropping via the group’s long-time label home Metal Blade Records, Servitude‘s release date of September 27th may seem like a lifetime away for death metal freaks, the new face-melting cut ‘Mammoth’s Hand‘ proves The Black Dahlia Murder‘s upcoming opus will undoubtedly be worth the wait.
