Within Destruction Celebrate Sumerian Records Signing with New Single ‘Demon Child’

Slovenian deathcore act Within Destruction have had a hell of a time harnessing their sound over the last few years. The band put out the heavy af EP Rebirth that catered to the gamers as it was based on one of the best video games out there, Elden Ring. They also featured on ‘Exofilth 2.0‘ with Distant, and dabbled with anime-core vibes in ‘ANIMETAL‘. Leaning into their evolving sound, Within Destruction present their latest single ‘Demon Child‘, which coincides with their welcome into the Sumerian Records family. The sense of sound from ‘ANIMETAL‘ is prevalent here, and it’s clear this isn’t just another deathcore song. There’s still the sick riffs, nasty screams and thumping drums purporting a groovy breakdown. On display too, we have very catchy and almost completely clean vocals, amped-up percussive productions and effects to match. Tack on a music video that gives “Fast And Furious Tokyo Drift but make it heavy” energy, and you have a recipe for an engaging track that I feel myself returning to.
