Clutch master cylinder upgrade

Looking for input on clutch master cylinder (CMC) sizing. The current setup is an R4C twin on an OS88 behind an RB30, running a stock S13 clutch master cylinder. Engagement is very high in the pedal and take-off from a stop is pretty harsh/on-off, especially in traffic. I understand the R4C is a high clamp load, with a narrow engagement window, so some of this is expected. That said, I’m trying to optimize the hydraulic side to see if it can assist with my issue as I don't want to change the clutch unless it's my only option. From what I understand: Increasing CMC bore size should increase fluid volume per stroke this should move the slave cylinder further for the same pedal travel. Potentially lowering the engagement point in the pedal, but at the cost of higher pedal effort. Questions: 1. Has anyone gone to a larger bore CMC (7/10 or 3/4) with a similar OS Giken setup? 2. Did it meaningfully change engagement height or just pedal stiffness? 3. Any benefit in pairing with a different slave cylinder bore instead? Or is this basically a limitation of the clutch design (float/plate characteristics) where hydraulics won’t fix drivability? Not expecting it to behave like a stock clutch, just trying to make it more manageable in Toronto traffic. Appreciate any real-world data or setups. Thanks RL
