Valve lifter shavings

Hi, i'm in the process of rebuilding my RB26, currently messing with the head. Had a shop check/ grind and install the valves and springs, today i put cams in to check valve clearance. Assembled everythings with installation lube and started measuring when i noticed very fine shavings being pushed up around the lifters, see pictures. Didnt turn the cam extensively, only as much as needed. Checked the lifters, their size is up to spec, went in tight but without force... theres light scratch marks visible, barely feelable with a fingernail. Not an expert with these things so may i ask yalls opinions on this? I dont think this is tolerable, is it? My best guess is lifter bore a notch too small...? Unfortunately didnt check that before. Im using basically all new parts except for valves, Nismo Heritage Cylinder Head, Tomei Valve Lifters (for standard base circle), Kelford L182B drop-in cams and single springs.
