Pulling loom/harness from R34

Doing a teardown of a R34 at the moment for paint, most things out (ie, engine/gearbox/driveline) and now getting to pulling the harnesses on the passenger (ie engine) and driver (ie, relay box) side. Pulling the ECU harness in the passenger footwell, I'm seemingly stuck on getting these lower bottom left connectors off this plastic block, which appear to be attached to the engine loom, to my surprise I can't obviously see anyone ever asking this question - maybe i'm that stupid.. but just trying to avoid breaking things knowing I'll have to reuse alot of this harness as its more than just a ECU harness. They seem to pretty obviously be sitting on a plastic rail with a angled clip like depicted below, but I don't see any obvious way to get them off without force? Pushing paper clips and what not in the front 2 bottom holes of them doesn't seem to achieve anything ... any advice? After this, and the pain of getting it out the firewall I'll be moving onto the fuse box, my understanding is 4-5 plugs on the driver side need to be unplugged? Even more painful than the passenger side? sigh... Bay respray and move to Haltech S3 being the end goal.
