Trump's LinkedIn troll sends ex-White House officials scrambling

President Donald Trump's latest online trolling campaign sent some White House staffers scrambling on Wednesday, according to a new report. Axios reported that Trump's team changed the image of the White House's company page on LinkedIn from the presidential seal to a picture of Trump himself. That caused Trump's photo to appear on the staffers' personal accounts. However, it appears several staffers were unhappy with the change. "Several former White House officials told Axios that they quickly changed their affiliation from White House to the Executive Office of the President (EOP), which still has the official seal and logo," the report reads in part. "Step-by-step instructions explaining how to remove Trump's picture or change the company affiliation to EOP were shared across White House alumni group texts, one source told Axios," it adds. Trump's presidential campaigns have always had a strong digital-first strategy, and the move to add his picture on LinkedIn is another example of that, political consultant Adam Rosenberg told the outlet."People act like this team has no comms playbook and they actually do. They're incredibly digitally savvy to think of this first," Rosenberg told the outlet. "It's also clearly meant to bait Democrats into using the 'he thinks he's a King' argument in media."Read the entire report by clicking here.
