Donald Trump hurled an ugly attack at president Joe Biden in a Fourth of July message that was closer in tone to a comedian at a celebrity roast than a presidential candidate. The presumptive Republican nominee bashed Biden's performance during the debate and ripped his explanation, both of which have raised concerns among Democrats and have led to calls for him to leave the race, and he attacked vice president Kamala Harris, who's widely considered as the top choice to replace the president atop the ticket."Happy Fourth of July to all, including to our highly incapable 'President,' who uses Prosecutors to go after his Political Opponent, who choked like a dog during the Debate but tried to pretend it was 'International Travel' (only 12 days rest!) and, when that gig was up, he blamed it on a 'cold,'" Trump posted on Truth Social. "Therefore, why would anyone say he’s cognitively challenged?""Also, respects to our potentially new Democrat Challenger, Laffin’ Kamala Harris," Trump added. "She did poorly in the Democrat Nominating process, starting out at Number Two, and ending up defeated and dropping out, even before getting to Iowa, but that doesn’t mean she’s not a 'highly talented' politician! Just ask her Mentor, the Great Willie Brown of San Francisco."Trump then dolloped insults on special counsel Jack Smith after the U.S. Supreme Court granted much of his immunity claim and potentially undercut his election interference case."Someone else that I have to compliment is a Deranged Biden Prosecutor named Jack Smith, who has become a Legend in his own mind for all of those cases he has lost," Trump posted. "The Corrupt Prosecutors are working hard for Crooked Joe, but it will never be enough — MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"By comparison, the president's July Fourth message celebrated the nation's founding virtues and invited Americans to celebrate them together."Year after year, we’ve come together today to celebrate freedom, liberty, and independence," Biden posted. "Today, Jill and I look forward to tonight’s celebration and wish you all a wonderful Fourth of July." — (@)
