Donald Trump owes his former attorney Rudy Giuliani about $2 million in wages and has ignored multiple invoices from him seeking to get paid, the former New York City mayor said in his bankruptcy case.He told investigators he has never been paid for his legal services to Trump, only getting reimbursement for his expenses, Newsweek reported. He’s asked for the $2 million “any number of times.”Giuliani declared bankruptcy after being ordered to pay $148 million after losing a defamation lawsuit in which he accused a pair of Georgia election workers of fixing the 2020 vote in the state.In a deposition given in February and made public this week, Giuliani revealed the lack of wages for his work."After the election was over, the day or two after, President Trump asked me to take over the campaign legal staff," Giuliani told attorney Andrea Schwartz, from the Office of the United States Trustee.READ MORE: 'Yes off record': Series of 'bombshell' texts by ex-Trump staffer hint at secret payoffs"He asked me to spearhead that effort, to head that effort [against alleged fraud].”Schwartz asked about his salary, and he replied, "I was supposed to. But they never paid the legal fees," he said."We have for any number of times asked to be paid. Expenses were paid. And we haven't been paid."
