A new interview is set to air on the Fourth of July in which President Joe Biden acknowledges he "screwed up" at last week's debate, and the interviewer told CNN on Wednesday that the 81-year-old showed no signs of stopping. Wisconsin radio host Earl Ingram interviewed the president Wednesday for his show. In a clip played by CNN of the interview, Biden admits he "had a bad night." "And the fact of the matter is, that, you know, it was - I screwed up. I made a mistake." But, Biden maintained, that was just 90 minutes. "Look what I've done in 3.5 years," he said. "I think that's a decision that will clearly have to be made by himself and his family and those in the political arena who know him best," said Ingram. That said, Biden appeared to be full-steam ahead. "He certainly didn't appear to show me the signs of a guy who's ready to throw in the towel," Ingram added. "He was combative as he's been in the last year or so. He's not a guy who's ready to throw in the towel." Ingram said most listeners on his show are dug-in Biden lovers who agree with the president — leave the ticket unchanged. "They think that it's too late, they think it's a mistake. They're so concerned about Donald Trump, they want the focus to be on Donald Trump." Ingram said he disagrees with listeners and supports having a conversation about Biden's candidacy. "It's part of the political system. To say there's things you can't discuss when we're talking about who's going to be the most powerful person in the world, doesn't make any sense to me," he said.
