Tanzania: TGS secures agreement with Tanzania’s PURA to provide offshore subsurface data

TGS has signed an agreement with Tanzania’s Petroleum Upstream Regulatory Authority (PURA) to manage and license the country’s extensive offshore subsurface data. This collection includes 2D and 3D seismic data covering an area of over 132,000 sq kms. Additionally, it includes support for upcoming licensing rounds, which are anticipated to commence in 2025.
