Trump won't make nice with Kemp unless he's panicked Georgia is slipping away: Ex-aide

Former President Donald Trump has no second thoughts about attacking Georgia's Republican Gov. Brian Kemp and his family because he is convinced he's got the state in the bag and doesn't need the help of politicians on the ground to win it.That's according to Erin Perrine, former communications strategist for the Trump 2020 campaign, who told CNN's Jake Tapper on Monday that if that assessment changes, it could be a different story."We were told that he, that he — the horrible assassination attempt on his life had changed him and he had — he was a person and he was pivoting to this new person, and that does not sounds like a pivot," said Tapper.Perrine agreed. "He holds grudges, he holds grievances." And in Trump's book, she added, "until there's a reason to have a reconciliation, he's not going to until he feels like he probably needs something from Kemp.
