'He cheats at golf': George Conway hits Trump with new Bedminster billboards

An announcement targeting those who tee off at Donald Trump's golf course will likely tick off the former president who frequently boasts of his A-Game. The billboards arriving in Doral and Bedminster come courtesy of Trump critic George Conway and his political fundraising group Anti-Psychopath PAC, which shared news of the new ad campaign on X Monday morning. They show Trump's head emerging from a small, brown hole in green golf turf. "Attention Bedminster golfers," the billboard reads. "Trump cheats."Conway, co-founder of the Lincoln Project, explained the message was meant to correlate Trump's behavior on the golf course with actions that have seen him successfully sued for fraud and convicted in his historic hush money trial. "Trump cheats at golf," Conway wrote on X. "He cheats on wives. He cheats on his financials. He cheats at elections. He cheats at everything, against anybody, whenever he can. Not just a little, but to a pathological degree. Trump cheats. And we are here to remind the electorate — and him — of that fact."This news comes exactly one month after a soft-ball golf question on a political podcast triggered a long-winded response from Trump, who is the Republican's presidential nominee. "So without bragging I'm a very good golfer," Trump said. "You know, I've won club championships. Many. Many, many club championships and I win them all the time. I still win them. I play just as good now as I did 20 years ago. That's a good sign. He lies about his lies. He fudges and foozles and fluffs.
