'Beyond insulting': J.D. Vance hammered by MSNBC host over new attack on women

Comments made by Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) on Fox News on Wednesday night about what he thinks suburban women think drew a harsh reply from MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski on Thursday morning.During his appearance with Fox News personality Laura Ingraham, Donald Trump's vice presidential nominee was asked whether women are concerned about access to abortion.“One of my dear friends said to me tonight that all these suburban women, all they care about is abortion, and they don’t understand the decision is with the states now. It’s not banned nationally, even if some people want it to be banned nationally,” Ingraham prompted her guest. “What do you say to suburban women out there who are marinating in this propaganda?”ALSO READ: Trump's insatiable ego is destroying the former president“Well, first of all, I don’t buy that, Laura," Vance blithely replied. "I think most suburban women care about the normal things that most Americans care about, right? They care about inflation, they care about the price of groceries, they care about public safety in the streets where their kids play.”Vance's dismissive remark about what is "normal" and his additional claim women are having abortions up to the ninth month earned him the "Morning Joe" co-host's ire."So many lies in there, we'll get to that," Brzezinski promised. "[Kamala] Harris' running mate, Governor Tim Walz hit back on Vance's remarks, writing 'It’s pretty normal to respect a woman’s right to make her own damn health care decisions.'""And someone may want to tell J.D. "It is health care and nobody's doing an abortion in the ninth month or when the baby is out of the body, as Donald Trump says," she continued.
