'His heart's not really in it': Internet pans Trump's 'boring' Bedminster speech

Donald Trump's speech on Thursday tried to link Vice President Kamala Harris to the U.S. economy under President Joe Biden, but internet observers seemed to agree — the speech was a bit of a bore. The speech in Bedminster, New Jersey, came a day after Trump went on largely off-script tangents, as he attacked Biden and Harris.A less-animated Trump on Thursday began his speech by looking down at the words and focusing on reading facts and figures. Some saw it as a "monotone" display, "boring," and an outright "Snorefest." However, the criticism most heard from everyday viewers, was just how "boring" it was. "This presser is so far an obvious redo attempt on his NC 'economy' speech, but you can tell his heart's not really in it. No crowd to stoke, though, so he sticks with it," wrote Washington Post analyst Philip Bump."Snore #TrumpPressConference," wrote national security attorney Bradley Moss.
