The attack during the Taylor Swift concert targeted thousands of victims

The planners of the failed attack during the concert of the singer Taylor Swift in Vienna, intended to kill “tens of thousands” of participants. The attack failed after the US intelligence agency CIA received information that enabled the arrest of the perpetrators, the deputy director of the CIA announced. The CIA alerted Austrian authorities to the plans of terrorists believed to be linked to the Islamic State group. The revelations and subsequent arrests led to the cancellation of three more sold-out tours, angering fans who had traveled from around the globe to attend Taylor Swift's concert.
