GOP activist behind racist signs Trump shared wants to use Latinos as 'target practice'

Colorado police caught the man posting racist posters around Denver that were even promoted by former President Donald Trump on his Truth Social account. NBC's 9News revealed that the signs were created by a self-proclaimed "street artist" who goes by the name of "Sabo."The Trump-supporting artist revealed to 9News that he has been contacted by Denver Police, who are investigating the signs he has posted as a possible "bias-motivated crime."Sabo stirred controversy this week when posted signs using the ethnic slur, “Kamala’s Illegals" that also claimed that “Blacks Must Sit At The Back Of The Bus. Kamala’s Migrants Sit In The Front.”The signs are painted to appear as if they are actual street signs like a crossing sign or simply a black and white sign.ALSO READ: DOJ asked to investigate potentially illegal Trump deal with RFK Jr.Sabo said in a video stream on social media that he began posting the signs because of a conspiracy theory involving a Venezuelan gang -- and he also named off Latino nationalities he would use as “target practice” in a conflict.“If a civil war breaks out and the f------ Guatemalans and Ecuadorians are like coming over the fence and stuff like that, it is straight up target practice,” Sabo said in his YouTube live stream.Sabo also said on the stream that he took a trip to Chicago earlier this month to show off some of his art near the Democratic National Convention.“I put up a few in Chicago during the DNC, and I have plans for another set to go up some place else (sic), which will no doubt bring the police to my door,” Sabo also posted on Facebook before the Denver signs went up. One of the signs in Chicago was posted outside of a fried chicken restaurant.“I saw Black observers shocked when they saw this,” he wrote.
