Rock singer Jon Bon Jovi and a video production assistant were caught on camera trying to persuade a woman standing on the edge of a Nashville overpass to back away from the railing and save herself. Police said the incident happened Tuesday (9/10) on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge, which spans the Cumberland River. The Tennessean reported that Bon Jovi was filming a music video on the bridge at the time. During filming, the bridge remained open to the public. The video, which was uploaded to YouTube and later removed, shows a video production assistant talking to the woman. The Grammy-winning singer slowly approaches, waves and joins in on the conversation. Eventually, the woman turned to face them, and they helped her over the railing of the bridge back to safety. Bon Jovi was seen talking to and hugging the woman. The singer's spokesman said Bon Jovi would not comment on the incident. (ah/rs)
