Josh Hawley smacked down by legal expert for claiming Jack Smith 'ignored the law'

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) was fact-checked by legal analysts Wednesday after claiming that the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Donald Trump can't be charged with a crime for any actions during his time in the White House. A Washington, D.C. grand jury handed down a superseding indictment about the 2020 election and Jan. 6 case, taking into account recent Supreme Court rulings. "This guy is totally out of control. The Supreme Court was clear - but now Harris & Co ignore the law to try to jail Trump.
