NEW ORLEANS — The Louisiana Supreme Court ruled that the trial court should have dismissed an employee’s workers’ compensation action against his employer on the basis that he had filed suit under a false name and social security number. He only admitted to using an alias after discovery was filed; he realized that using a false identity would affect his ability to seek damages on behalf of his children.
