An Estonian man on Sunday night walked along a tightrope stretched across the Bosphorus Bridge in Istanbul, covering a distance of 1,074 meters (3,300 feet), reaching from Asia to Europe. Jaan Roose said traffic on the bridge below, as well as the sound of planes and helicopters overhead, were distractions during the 47-minute journey on a rope strung between the legs of the bridge, 165 meters above sea level.
