“Special Victims Unit” Enters Museum in America

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Americans and millions around the world are familiar with the signature theme of the television series “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” The police drama and its star Olivia Benson, played by Mariska Hargitay, have aired on NBC for a quarter of a century. Recently, Mariska Hargitay and the show's creator, Dick Wolf, presented one of Olivia Benson's costumes from the show's 25th season to the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History.
