Morning Joe panel mocks GOP senator after Fox News shuts down 'ding dong' insult

Panelists on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" ridiculed Sen. John Kennedy for getting pushback from a Fox News host over his insulting attacks on Vice President Kamala Harris.The Louisiana Republican appeared to be caught off guard when host Neil Cavuto took him to task for repeatedly calling Harris a "ding-dong," which he claimed was based on polls showing voters don't think the vice president is intelligent. Panelists on the rival network applauded the conservative broadcaster for challenging Kennedy."Good for Neil Cavuto," said MSNBC's Jonathan Lemire, filling in for hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski. "I mean, there it is, that's what the Republicans are doing. "Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson agreed, saying the GOP still hadn't landed any blows on Harris since she took over as the likely Democratic presidential nominee after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race."Really, ding-dong?" Robinson said. "They should just keep that up, okay? "This shows they do not have a solid attack right now. If all they're doing is name-calling, petty name-calling that also falls apart at the surface because she's a pretty successful career woman.
