As the four astronauts on the Artemis II mission approach the moon for a lunar flyby, they are seeing sights never before seen by human eyes, along with spectacular views of the Earth. Artemis II crossed the "two-thirds" point of the journey just after 10 p.m. Saturday, April 4. Today, the crew will enter the lunar sphere of influence, where the pull of the moon’s gravity will become stronger than the pull of the Earth’s gravity. The crew members – NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Christina Koch and Victor Glover, and the Canadian Space Agency's Jeremy Hansen – are expected to venture farther in space than anyone in human history. This mission paves the way for a moon landing as early as 2028....
