Observations from two of NASA's most prolific space telescopes have revealed Saturn and its iconic rings in unprecedented detail. The James Webb Space Telescope and the Hubble Space Telescope teamed up to capture views of Saturn in both visible and invisible light. The result? What NASA describes as "the most comprehensive view" to date of the ringed gas giant – one of our solar system's largest planets. The data provided by the sophisticated instruments – with Hubble orbiting Earth and Webb orbiting the sun – have allowed scientists on Earth to peer through the cosmos into Saturn's atmosphere and understand more about how it works.
