Low snowpack, runoff pollution push Fraser Valley toward action

Amid an unusually warm winter, runoff from rain and melting snow is surging through the Fraser Valley earlier than usual. That stormwater runoff often delivers concentrated pulses of pollution such as fertilizer, sediment and automobile pollutants other into streams, which scientists say can affect water quality and aquatic life.
