President Donald Trump erupted Friday on Truth Social, declaring it a “total disgrace” that next year’s G20 summit will be held in South Africa – and vowing that no U.S. officials will attend the global gathering as long as “human rights abuses” continue there.“It is a total disgrace that the G20 will be held in South Africa,” Trump wrote Friday. “Afrikaners (People who are descended from Dutch settlers, and also French and German immigrants) are being killed and slaughtered, and their land and farms are being illegally confiscated. No U.S. Government Official will attend as long as these Human Rights abuses continue.”Trump added that he would “look forward to hosting the 2026 G20 in Miami, Florida!” The president’s remarks came just after leaving the White House for Mar-a-Lago, his beach resort just north of Miami.Trump’s G20 outburst came amid a day of online presidential tirades. Earlier on Friday, he demanded that U.S. senators “not leave town” for the weekend until they end the ongoing government shutdown, which has become the longest in U.S. history. He also turned his attention to the meatpacking industry, calling on the Department of Justice to launch an investigation into major producers for alleged “price-fixing” and manipulation of beef costs.
