IATA and CFM International renew pro-competitive agreement on engine maintenance

GENEVA – The International Air Transport Association has announced the renewal of its agreement with CFM International through February 2033, reinforcing pro-competitive practices in the market for engine maintenance, repair and overhaul services. The agreement supports increased competition for MRO services for engines manufactured by CFM International, a 50/50 partnership between GE Aerospace and Safran Aircraft Engines, and applies to all CFM commercial engine programmes.
