Odia music composer-singer Abhijit Majumdar dies

Odia music composer and singer Abhijit Majumdar has died, the east Indian state's chief minister, Mohan Charan Majhi, said on Sunday. Extending his condolences on social media, Majhi wrote, "His demise is an irreparable loss to our music, cinema, and culture.
