Dear Uvalde: I’ve been writing about education and public safety for the Leader-News for the last six months. I’d like to ask you to write back to me. This is a formal invitation to any and everyone to share their good news from Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District. Does your first-grader love the new lunch menu? Is your campus garden sprouting beautifully this season? Are you an educator who won an award? Does your campus crosswalk monitor always make sure your little sister gets home safe?
