Biff America: The good old days

“The winter has been as dry as my skin with the snow as thin as my hair.” Granted, you will not find that message on any ski resort promos. But that is what I wrote to my friend Brooke, who is bringing her family out for a ski vacation. I added that though this has been an unprecedentedly lean winter so far, the resorts have done an amazing job making snow and managing the precipitation that we have enjoyed — the terrain that is open is in good shape.
