Taiwan unveils 20-qubit superconducting quantum computer built entirely in-house

Researchers at Academia Sinica have developed a 20-qubit superconducting quantum computer, marking Taiwan’s entry into large-scale quantum chip fabrication. The system was designed, fabricated, and integrated entirely in-house and is already open to domestic researchers for quantum simulation and testing.
