Combating climate change with better semiconductor manufacturing

The average global temperature has risen by 1.5 C since the pre-industrial era due to climate change, and it is poised to continue increasing. In response, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has developed the Global Warming Potential (GWP) metric, a unit of measurement that compares a specific gas's contribution to climate change to that of carbon dioxide.
