Trump Deploys Nuclear Submarines After Medvedev’s Threats
U.S. President Donald Trump has ordered the deployment of two nuclear submarines to “appropriate regions” in response to recent comments by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council. The announcement was made via Truth Social, according to Ukrinform. “In light of the extremely provocative remarks made by former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, who now serves as Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, I have ordered the deployment of two nuclear submarines to appropriate regions in case these absurd and provocative statements turn into something more,”Trump stated. He stressed that words matter and can lead to unpredictable consequences. “Let’s hope this isn’t one of those cases,”the U.S. President added.
