Russia is slowing down ceasefire process – British Ambassador

Ukraine is demonstrating its readiness for a complete ceasefire, while the Russian Federation is delaying the process. This was stated by British Ambassador to Ukraine Martin Harris in an interview with Ukrinform. “Ukraine is demonstrating its readiness for an unconditional and full ceasefire. Now the ball is in Russia’s court, Russia must demonstrate practically and realistically whether they are serious about peace,” the ambassador said. He noted that Britain shares the desire of US President Donald Trump to “stop this barbaric war Russia has been waging against Ukraine immediately,” and added that Ukraine wants a lasting and just peace.
