No reason to limit Ukraine’s activities in Russia’s Kursk Oblast, – Finnish President
Finnish President Alexander Stubb has nothing against Ukraine using Finnish equipment in the Kursk region and the Kursk operation itself. He said this during a press conference on August 14, according to Yle. "We have no restrictions on what weapons and how Ukraine can use them. The starting point for everything is that Ukraine has every right to defend itself within the framework of international law," Stubb said. He reiterated that Russia has been systematically bombing Ukrainian civilians, which is possible particularly due to accumulating troops and weapons in the border regions. Stubb's statement reinforces Finland's stance on Ukraine's actions to defeat the aggressor as the state previously backed its strikes inside the Russian territory to destroy military sites allowing the Russian troops to attack Ukrainian civilians back in May.
