Details: The report indicates that Iran’s transfer of ballistic missiles "provides Moscow with another powerful military tool for use in the war against Ukraine." WSJ does not specify the number or types of missiles that Russia received. However, Reuters, which was the first to report on the preparation of ballistic missile transfers from Iran to Russia, mentioned that it could involve the Fath-360 system—a system that launches ballistic missiles with a maximum range of 120 kilometers and a warhead weighing 150 kilograms. The European Union has previously pledged to respond to Iran’s transfer of ballistic missiles to Russia. It is well-known that Iran and Russia have been intensifying military cooperation since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022. Officially, Iran denies providing military aid to Moscow. Tehran has only admitted to supplying a small batch of kamikaze drones to Russia before the full-scale invasion.
