Kamala Harris leads Donald Trump among women voters in US Presidential race
According to a series of polls, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris has widened her lead over Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump among women, which could be a crucial factor in the upcoming elections. Citing these poll results, The Hill reported that Harris is ahead of Trump among women by a margin of 54% to 41%, according to an ABC News/Ipsos poll. Meanwhile, Trump leads Harris among men with a result of 51% to 46%. Journalists noted that before last month's Democratic National Convention, Harris led Trump by 6% among women. Among adults and registered voters, Harris leads Trump with a ratio of 50% to 46%, and among likely voters, Harris is ahead with 52% to 46%. According to the poll index by The Hill and Decision Desk HQ, Harris leads Trump by 4.1 points nationwide. However, a new poll shows that after the Democratic Convention, Harris did not see a significant increase in overall support, although she maintained a slight edge over Trump in the national rating. Sociologists pointed out that the gender gap between Harris and Trump has decreased compared to the last election. Since 1996, this gap has typically been around 19% according to exit polls.
