We were spared so we can help

THE EDITOR: TT was spared the full wrath of Hurricane Beryl for a reason. Given the scale of destruction in Carriacou and Petit Martinique in Grenada, and Union Island, Myreau and Canouan in St Vincent and the Grenadines, and to a lesser extent in St Lucia, Barbados and Tobago, we must do what we do best. Our brothers and sisters in those islands need all the help they can get, no matter how small. Jamaica may also need our help in the coming days. Let us do what we can, as we always do in times like this. Do not forget to thank God for his mercies towards us.
