PRO Series advanced to the semifinals of the 2024 Next Level Consulting Ltd (NLCL) under-15 community cup at the expense of 2023 champions FC Ginga on July 3, when they eked out a 1-0 win over the latter team in a do-or-die group A encounter at Constantine Park in Macoya. In a game which was pushed back by a few days owing to bad weather over the weekend, the teams navigated heavy conditions at the Macoya venue. Level on 13 points at the group A summit before kickoff, both teams knew a favourable result would have sent them through to the last four of the tourney. In the 43rd minute, Pro Series' Jalen Hislop got the lone goal in the encounter to seal the win and secure his team's passage into the semis. Pro Series finished the group in top spot on 16 points. City FC finished the group on 15 points, relegating Ginga (13 points) to third. Nadeem Grant scored a goal in each half to push City FC to the big win, with three other players scoring a goal apiece. On June 30, Cox Coaching School continued their fantastic run in the competition when they finished group B with their eighth straight win – a 1-0 result over Project Pro Academy at the Palo Seco Secondary School ground. Jaylon Forbes scored the only goal in the game. Union Hall United will be joining Cox Coaching School in the semis, and they secured their place in the last four with a 3-1 win over HVC FC on June 30 with DeJosiah Cyrus bagging a brace. On June 6, from 2 pm at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium in Marabella, Union Hall will tackle Pro Series in the first semifinal, with the undefeated Cox Coaching School team taking on City FC in the second semifinal from 3.45 pm.
