Bandits rob Caribbean Jewellers in Tobago

THERE has been yet another robbery at Caribbean Jewellers at the Lowlands Mall in Tobago. Although details are still sketchy, Newsday understands that two masked men entered the jewellery store shortly before 11 am on August 14, and announced a hold-up. A 29-second video shared via social media showed two masked bandits in construction hats and safety jackets. One of the bandits was seen kicking and stamping the security guard on his head, while the other was seen leaving the back of the store with a black garbage bag. Police are investigating.
