Wish-bearing paper lanterns, including three in the shape of a horse, are released by officials, representatives of foreign offices in Taiwan and visitors Feb. 27 in New Taipei City. The activity is part of the 2026 Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival underway until March 3. (Courtesy of NTC Government)
