Dutch catering wholesale company Bidfood Netherlands, part of South African holding Bidcorp, is doubling its electric truck fleet with an order of 25 additional Renault Trucks E-Tech vehicles. This brings the total to 50 zero-emission trucks in its fleet. Bidfood has been running Renault Trucks E-Tech electric trucks since 2021. According to the manufacturer, the 25 Renault Trucks E-Tech electric trucks that Bidfood Netherlands has been using since 2021 for food delivery to restaurants and other hospitality companies have already covered over 220,000 km and saved over 230 tonnes in CO2 emissions.
