Award-winning actress Brenda Ngxoli has scored a major hosting gig at the prestigious South African Traditional Leaders Awards (SATLA), set to take place at the East London ICC on February 22.This comes after she received an outpouring of support following her recent emotional revelations about her family struggles.Ngxoli, who recently shared painful details of abuse she endured at the hands of her mother, has been embraced by fans and the public alike.Her announcement as Program Director for the SATLA event was shared on social media by the organisers, who posted: "Meet our Beautiful Program Director of the South African Traditional Leaders Awards ::: Brenda Ngxoli!!!! Owethu u Thixo unjalo masidibaneni e monti e ICC nge 22 February !!!."The support for Ngxoli has extended beyond emotional encouragement.A beauty glam studio has stepped in, offering the actor complimentary make-up and hair services for the event.In an email shared publicly, Head of Marketing and Communications, Prince Gungqa confirmed the news: "We would like to offer her our services on the 22nd of February 2025. Services that we would like to offer her for free is free makeup for the day and free hair installation. We are willing to come over to her place of comfort and render our services."This new chapter for Ngxoli comes after the actor opened up about her difficult relationship with her mother, which included explosive claims of abuse.In a candid video on social media, Ngxoli confronted her mother, accusing her of defamation and false claims of assault."Beat me! You are used to doing this; even the defamation of character that you keep doing, I will open a case," she said, while her mother held a stick, accusing Ngxoli of neglecting her."It is not my responsibility to feed you.
