EXTREME WEATHER : R1.8bn bill for Western Cape flood repairs — province ‘needs climate-resilient infrastructure’

The Department of Infrastructure in the Western Cape has estimated the damage from floods over the past year runs to R1.8bn – and says it needs to plan new climate-resilient infrastructure projects.
